U.S. Veteran · Chef · Mentor

I'm Geoff Cole.
This is what I actually do.

No hype page. No sales funnel. A straight breakdown of who I am, the community I built, and the services I offer the students and operators I mentor into government contracting.

The short version

From the line to the contract office.

I served this country, then spent years in professional kitchens — two worlds that taught me the same thing: standards, systems, and follow-through win. Nothing else.

When I moved into government contracting, I saw the same pattern from the other side. Billions in awards moving every year, and most qualified people never even seeing the door, let alone walking through it.

So I built RIRL. A private community and a small roster of students I mentor personally. No mass courses. No affiliate army. Just the actual playbook I use in my own business, taught to people willing to do the work.

What I offer

Services for my community & students.

01

1:1 Mentorship

Direct guidance for serious students. We map your background, licenses, and capacity to the contracts you can actually win — then walk the process together.

02

The RIRL Community

A private circle of operators, veterans, and first-time contractors sharing live bids, wins, and lessons. No noise. No gurus. Just people doing the work.

03

Bid & Proposal Support

Structured help identifying set-aside opportunities, preparing capability statements, and submitting proposals that actually get read.

04

Vendor & Agency Introductions

Warm pathways to primes, agencies, and teaming partners I've worked with — earned relationships, not cold email lists.

05

Private Briefings & Workshops

Invitation-only sessions where I break down live contracts, market shifts, and the exact playbook I use in my own business.

06

Strategic Roadmapping

A clear 90-day plan tailored to your certifications and goals — so you stop guessing and start moving toward your first (or next) award.

How I work with students.

  • Small groups. I keep the roster tight on purpose.
  • Real contracts, real numbers — no hypotheticals.
  • Weekly touchpoints, not once-a-quarter check-ins.
  • Straight feedback. If something isn't going to work, I say so.

Who the community is for.

  • Veterans and service-connected operators.
  • Tradespeople and business owners ready to bid.
  • First-time contractors serious about the process.
  • Students who value mentorship over marketing.

A note from Geoff

“I'm not here to sell you a dream. I'm here to hand you the same map I use — and walk part of the road with you.”
